Wheel Alignment


The length of time to undergo a 4 wheel alignment varies from vehicle to vehicle. Some typical price examples are listed below :-

Vehicle 4 Wheel Alignment check only (any vehicle) : £30+vat

Check and adjust camber/caster/toe/ride height (where applicable) :-

Lotus Elise/Exige/340R/211 : £150+vat (please add £50+vat if caster requires adjustment)
Vauxhall VX220 : £150+vat (please add £50+vat if caster requires adjustment)
Westfield SEiW : £200+vat
Mazda MX5 Mk1/2/2.5/3/4 (no ride height) : £100+vat
Mazda MX5 Mk1/2/2.5/3/4 (with ride height) : £120+vat

Please note : In the event that we come across ‘seized’ bolts, worn bushes, etc. then extra charges for parts/labour may be incurred. Customers will be informed of any extra work/costs before the work is started.

BLiNK Motorsport have invested in the latest and greatest Hunter Hawkeye Elite TD wheel aligner. This is, in our opinion, the best aligner equipment on the market today. It is also used by many of the mainstream vehicle manufacturers including BMW, Jaguar/LandRover, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen.

We also have a dedicated ‘scissor’ lift with built in front turn plates and rear slip plates. This vehicle lift has been calibrated to be perfectly flat so as to give the best platform for vehicle wheel alignment.

We can 4 wheel align any car either to manufacturers settings (the Hunter database is *very* extensive), or to our own BLiNK Optimized™ settings based on years of experience on road and track.

The BLiNK Optimized™ settings come under 3 fairly self explanatory descriptions based on the intended use of the vehicle :-

  • Road Warrior
  • Track Demon
  • Racing God

We can also cater to specific settings if you have your own preferred vehicle configuration.

As part of the Hunter equipment package, we have invested in the latest ‘wheel adaptors’ which clamp onto the tyre rather than the wheel rim. This means that your expensive rims will not get damaged whilst the alignment is taking place. The picture below illustrates these clamps :-

However, there are some wheels (e.g. deep dished, split rims), that the above adaptors cannot be used on, in which case we have the ‘normal’ clamps that will attach to the wheel rim. In these special, rare cases, every care will be taken not to damage the rims in any way.

We also have the Hunter CodeLink adaptor. This is a device that interfaces the Hunter console with the vehicle via the vehicles OBD (On Board Diagnostic) port. This enables us to check and reset equipment such as Electronic Steering Wheel Angle Sensors which manufacturers now fit as part of systems such as Electronic Stability Control, Anti Skid Control, etc.
